Today's timesink: RenAi Blogger
Hinano has finally released her RenAi Blogger game to the internet masses, and since I visit her site every single day (yeah, some great life I have, huh?), I downloaded it and spent part of my evening playing it getting all the endings.
So here's some random thoughts that popped up in my head during my first/second (you'll understand why after seeing the pics) runthrough. I got the Hinano ending, btw. Yay me?

So basically, RenAi Blogger is a RenAi game with the usual stuff like multiple girls, different endings, the works. The girls are all based on totally hawt female anime bloggers (not all of them are bloggers in the game though).
I can't really say much about the art since I can't draw for jack squat yet, but Hinano's artwork is definitely above the level of "so bad that I have to go hurl in a corner", so unless you're a total art fag who insists on having perfect pictures to look at, you'll be fine.
The gameplay's pretty standard if you've played any other visual novels before, just point and click. Picking the right choices is easy and they'll usually net you a girl - though if you want a specific one, you'll need to make specific choices on where you go/what you say. The game's short (shouldn't take you more than an hour or two to get all the endings), but it's sweet. Some of the endings are pretty good, and if you go to anime conventions, you may even relate to some of the endings yourself. Stuff like getting beat down by yaoi paddles or being accused of being one of the pedopals is amusing. JP ending is all kinds of awesome, by the way.
Overall, if you've got an hour or two to kill and you're looking for a short and sweet visual novel to go through, go give RenAi Blogger a try... maybe I should go buy a RenAi Blogger shirt when I get the chance.
